I’ll never date you… but I’ll marry you!
Her Story
Here’s how it happened!
We met at Marquette University in 2014. With the help of a friend, we discovered I lived above Matt. For the next two years we treated our places like one massive two-floor apartment. With Matt’s projector and my space for activities, it was the perfect match. But one day, I said “I would never date you.”
I kept in touch with him after graduation, if you can believe he still agreed to talk to me after that comment.
When life opened up again after covid, I eagerly reached out to see what amazing things Matt was up to. As kind as ever, he obliged. I arrived on the set date and Matt greeted me with a hug. That’s when the turntables, and I fell in love.
Plenty of fish in the sea…
But I want that one!
His Story
In 2014 I was hanging out with a buddy at my apartment. At one point he commented that his friend Sarah lived above me and was planning to hang out with her that day and invited me. I was excited to finally meet the pretty girl I had seen coming and going from our building. We walked into her apartment, and at that moment I knew she was something special. We hit it off and found we had common interests. This marked the beginning of an amazing friendship and an expansion of our living spaces.Although we didn’t date during school, I always answered when Sarah reached out afterwards. After not seeing each other through COVID, I was very excited to have her back in my life again. This time, I made sure to make it permanent!
